The BIO4FUTURE task aims, among other things, to promote knowledge of the biodiversity of the Podlaskie region and to actively engage the community in nature conservation.”
The following educational activities are planned:
Mobile educational exhibitions
- Permanent and seasonal exhibitions showcasing the diversity of plants and fungi in the Podlasie region
The aim of the exhibitions will be to present the natural wealth of the Podlasie Province in an attractive visual format.
Educational workshops
- One-day workshops for various target groups: primary school pupils, secondary school pupils and adults
The sessions will aim to introduce participants to the richness of the mycobiota and flora of the Podlaskie Province. Participants will have the opportunity to learn practical ways of caring for nature and will increase their environmental awareness.
Objectives of the educational activities
- Promoting knowledge of the region’s biodiversity
- Stimulating interest in the conservation of fungi and plants, particularly threatened species
- Developing environmental awareness among children, young people and adults
- Facilitating access to engaging educational materials and interactive learning methods
